The Power of the Human Spirit

After many action-packed days with the little Hartmanns, they headed back to prepare for the school year. It's always hard to say goodbye, but thanks to the Wright Brothers, I can fly to see them whenever I like.

Thanks, Wright Brothers.

Yesterday I drove up north from Virginia Beach to visit a lovely woman who has generalized Dystonia. Even through all of her challenges, struggles and pain she has such a light in her eyes and such palpable eagerness. Her life force was evident from the moment I laid eyes on her.

She is an amazing artist -- needlepointing (even with her compromised hands)
and amazing quilting. Gorgeous.

Just from our short time together, she has my eternal respect.

Margo Bavry. You rule! Consider me a friend forever.
You know where to find me if you ever need ANYTHING.

Love,
Rogers

Hugs and kisses to your dogs and kitties.

Virginia Beach

Always soul-enhancing to be with your family.
For me, anyway.

Working, but also finding time to be present and have a great time
with the 5 little Hartmanns.

Virginia Beach is one of my homes away from home.
Especially, because this is where my parents met.

I am meeting with Dystonia brethren while here and I
am sure it will be a big lump crabcake-fest.

GREAT t-shirts soon. Thanks for all for all of the interest.
I have taken great care with them, so hopefully, folks will not
only be inclined to buy, but to wear.

My mantra these days (to myself and others, if they like) is

DO NOT LET DYSTONIA DEFINE YOU.

awaiting our lunch at Dockside.

Happy Weekend!

The Little Hartmanns -- the loves of my life.
